[wow_title text=”Clinical Social Worker”]
Jennifer was born and raised in Utah. She attended Utah State University and graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She and her husband moved away from Utah just after they were married and 26 years later returned during the summer of 2019. While away from her home state she completed her Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Washington, began therapy work for a private practice and became a seminar facilitator supporting children and parents struggling with divorce or separation.
She is passionate about helping children, youth and their families. She has received certification in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She also incorporates social stories, play and art therapy, and the mind/body connection into her practice. She is particularly skilled at helping children. She is a mom to four amazing children and understands that parenting challenges are real and so are the means to address them—you don’t have to struggle alone. Her own life provides a healthy sense of “I get ya, mom / dad” to her practice. She loves spending time with her family! Personal interests include yoga, swimming, and gardening.
